FRCC regularly offers Hunter Safety and CCW/CPL Courses (Mixed and Women’s Only) for the public and members and occasionally offers public shooting courses and demonstrations.
CLUB MEETING SCHEDULE
First Thursday of the month, meeting in the shotgun club house 7:30PM

OPEN TO CLUB MEMBERS AND LEAGUE SHOOTERS
THESE WILL BE TWO PERSON TEAMS. YOU CAN BRING A PARTNER OR WE WILL MATCH YOU WITH ONE.
EACH EVENT CAN BE SHOT ON ANY ONE OF THE DATES LISTED FOR EACH EVENT.
COST IS $20 PER PERSON

SHOOTING DATES: FEB 18th AND 21st 9AM TO NOON
BB GUN SHOOT AT 5 METERS. (GUNS FURNISHED BY CLUB)
IT IS AN OFF HAND SHOOT 10 ROUNDS IN 5 TARGETS FOR 50 ROUNDS
THIS WILL BE SHOT ON THE INSIDE RANGE. CLUB WILL SUPPLY AMMO
EVENT 2
SHOOTING DATES: FEB 18th, 21st AND 25th 9AM TO NOON
TWO ROUNDS OF 50 .22 PISTOL. 5-10 ROUND TARGETS FOR EACH ROUND.
EVENT 3
SHOOTING DATES: FEB 19th 10AM TO 1PM, FEB 22nd 10AM TO NOON, FEB 23rd 5:30PM TO 7 PM
2-25 ROUNDS OF WABBLE TRAP
EACH SHOOTER WILL START A LINE OF 25
EACH SHOOTING TEAM WILL LINE UP. IF FIRST SHOOTER MISSES THE TARGET, HIS PARTNER CAN BACK THEM UP AND BREAK IT.
SHOTGUN AMMO IS AVAILABLE IN THE SHOTGUN CLUBHOUSE FOR $9.50 PER BOX.

HUNTER SAFETY
Arrive early to register on the first day
Next class is March 25, 2023
- 1 Day Weekend Course – Saturday class 8 am – 4 pm.
- Advance Registration Required through the DNR website.
- Classes are free. Students 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- This is the ”field only” portion for Hunter Safety. Refer to the DNR website for all the information needed for this course.

CCW/CPL
(2nd Saturday of the Month)
Held 2nd Saturday of each month. $65 for non-members. $45 for members. A 1-day class 8 AM – 5 PM. Maximum of 12 students. Classes fill up fast so don’t wait until the last minute for a certain date. Mail check and completed application to the address on application.

OUTDOOR .22 RIFLE LEAGUE EVERYONE IS WELCOME

WE WILL BE SHOOTING AT 25 OR 50 YARDS. THE CHOICE IS YOURS AS TO WHICH RANGE YOU WANT TO SHOOT.
COST TO SHOOT IS $5.00 PER SESSION. FOR 2 TARGETS WITH 25 BULLSEYE
ANY SAFE .22 LONG RIFLE AND SCOPE COMBINATION IS ALLOWED. OPEN SITES AS WELL SHOULD YOU CHOSE TO USE THEM. THERE IS NO LIMIT ON SCOPE POWER.
WE WILL BE SHOOTING RAIN OR SHINE, WE HAVE COVERED SHOOTING STATIONS.
ANY TWO PIECE REST ARE ALLOWED. NO ONE PIECE SYSTEMS ALLOWED. THE CLUB HAS SAND BAGS IF YOU NEED THEM.
SITE IN STARTS AT 9:00 AM SHOOTING FOR SCORE BEGINS AT 10:00
SEASONED AND BEGINNER SHOOTERS ARE WELCOME.
