NEW THIS SUMMER: FRCC WILL BE OPENING UP THE SPORTING CLAYS COARSE ON SATURDAY MORNINGS @ 9AM ONCE A MONTH. NEXT DATE IS JUNE 26. BRING SOME FRIENDS AND HAVE SOME FUN SHOOTING IN THE WOODS.

REMINDER:

The 300 yard range is open to members only but requires at least 2 people to use it as one person must remain at the bench rest area while the other person posts or checks targets.

It takes awhile to walk there and we don’t want anyone in the line of fire.*

Flat River will be offering a hunters safety field day class for anyone that completed the classroom portion on line. The date is June 26th at 9 AM. Preregistration is required by calling Roy @ 989-818-0989.

Wednesday: 10:00 am until finished

Thursdays: 6:00 pm till finished

Sundays: 9:00 am till 2:00 pm

5 Stand – Sporting Clays run April 2nd thru November 1st (Sundays only)

June 7 thru August 30 (Wednesdays)

In the event of inclement weather the shotgun range will be closed.

About FRCC

Flat River Conservation Club, Inc. is a member operated club whose purpose is to promote responsible firearms use and ownership and to establish and maintain sport shooting programs and ranges and to promote and advance the cause of conservation of our natural resources, that is the mineral, water, soil, air, forest, fish, game and wildlife resources for the benefit of present and future generations.

Memberships are available to those persons who support the above purposes and are over the age of eighteen years.

Memberships can be obtained by stopping by the club on the west side of M91 (shotgun side) during regular hours shown above. They are no longer available by mail. Memberships dues are $100 per year.

Shotgun Range Open to Members and Public:

Rifle Range is only open to members:

  • 50/100 target Sporting Clays
  • Lighted 5 Stand, Skeet, Trap and Wobble Trap

The club also offers to members and the public:

  • CCW/CPL classes (CPL COURSE APPLICATION)
  • Hunter Safety
  • Private group outings on the shotgun range
  • Hall Rental (Hover over home tab and click on Hall Rental)
  • Various shooting events: i.e. Registered Sporting Clays, Protection/Blind Draw
  • Indoor pistol range operated in the winter
  • .22 caliber Steel Plate shooting, Egg Shoots
  • Military Rifle Shoots, the Flat River Classic S x S shoot.

Members have access to the 7 yard (pistol only), 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yard rifle ranges. Also the action pistol steel plate range behind the east club house

    You can sign up during our open hours listed for the shotgun West side of the road. We do not allow 50 BMGs

    Can the range hours for members access be posted on the website? If it’s there, I couldn’t find it and many of the range rules links are dead… Drove out at 7am, only to read “8am” on the rules board
